Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

The Department of Electronic & Communication Engineering offers degrees at undergraduate level. It offers Bachelor of Technology in Electronic & Communication Engineering . It will fulfill the more acute need of the development of the country by producing qualified Engineers. The program offered will also will also provide technical man power for the development and production of the Electronic & Communication fields in the country.

The field of Electronic Engineering encompasses the knowledge of electronic component / device and circuits used in the appliances such as radio, television, recorders/players, microwave ovens etc. The courses taught are regularly updated to keep abreast of the new knowledge and development. The students will also undertake a project during their final year, which helps them to enhance their capabilities as young design engineers.

Every day, new improved and enhanced services are being offered by telecommunication companies. telecommunication links and channels are depleting fast due to ever increasing demand. Everyday, a new telecommunication company comes on the surface and the industry is expanding very fast. Seeing this rapid advancement, the department has started new programs both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The bachelor’s degree in communication engineering will provide qualified engineers to multinational telecommunication companies.

The college has setup ITCRC in association with leading companies around the globe to help students with placements. The ECE department students get to work on live projects in companies like Godrej, Creative Robotics Pvt. Ltd. Moreover, under ITCRC the ECE students learn and work on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science in specialized labs. Students are enrolled into the Python Programming Lab and are also taught Google Based Products - development and implementation including but not limited to Google Cloud, Android App Development, SEO etc. The above is all Free of Cost!
