Master of Business Administration (MBA) provides theoretical and practical training for business or investment management. An MBA is designed to help graduates gain a better understanding of general business management functions

The Department of Master of Business Administration was established in 2007 with an intake of 120 students per year. The department offers the course leading to the PG degree of Master of Business Administration. It has excellent infrastructure (such as PC Lab, internet lab, seminar room and a well organized library) experienced and well qualified faculty to impart quality education to the students to enable them to become professionals of high caliber with excellent managerial capabilities. The curriculum has been drafted to include detailed and in-depth knowledge of business administration and management. In addition to this, the department also conducts value added courses covering the latest developments in the field for the over all development of the students.

The MBA department provides professional education in a flexible academic package synergized with latest applications of information technology, research workshops, skill development & entrepreneurship programs. Teaching at RDEC is highly practical & focused on developing the overall personality of the student. Besides imparting theoretical knowledge, the curriculum lay impetus on developing analytical skills, communication, problem solving and team work abilities.

The curriculum is being constantly updated by the university with the changing national and international business environment. Following the Kaizen concept, a continuous endeavor is made to improve the course design, core readings and the periodic examination process. The emphasis is on creating a ‘modular’ way of teaching which includes the participation of both the faculty and the experts from industry.

Dr. Gaurav Bansal is heading the Department of Management Studies (MBA). He has 17 years of teaching and research experience in the field of “Finance and Accounting”. He has published 13 papers and presented 25 papers in National/International Journals and conferences. He has been invited as judge in various conferences and seminars organized by different universities and management colleges. He has been honored by “Proactive Leadership Award 2019” in the education field.
