Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two year professional post-graduate programme for candidates wanting to delve deeper into the world of computer application development with the help of learning modern programming language. The program is a blend of both theoretical and practical knowledge. An MCA degree endows students’ an opportunity to work with tools meant to develop better and faster applications.

The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was established in 2008 with an intake of 120 students per year. The Department offers the course, which is of 3 years duration, leading to the PG degree of MCA. The department has raised the excellent computing infrastructure and well trained and experienced and well qualified faculty to impart quality education to meet the demands of the various organizations and the Industry.

The Department caters to the needs of nearly 120 students in various batches of MCA. It has established the state- of- the-art computer laboratories and has developed very good Library facilities for the students. The curriculum includes detailed and in-depth knowledge of both Systems and Application software concepts. In addition to this the Department also conducts value added courses covering the latest in the field of computing technology for the over all development of the students.

The college has setup ITCRC in association with leading companies around the globe to help students with placements. The MCA department students get to work on live projects in companies like R-Systems, Novoinvent. Moreover, under ITCRC the MCA students learn and work on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science in specialized labs. Students are enrolled into the Python Programming Lab and are also taught Google Based Products - development and implementation including but not limited to Google Cloud, Android App Development, SEO etc. The above is all Free of Cost!
