R.D. Engineering College, Ghaziabad recently hosted an internal hackathon for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, bringing together talented students and faculty in a collaborative environment dedicated to problem-solving and technological innovation. Held on September 23-24 at the Seminar Hall, B-Block, this event served as a crucial stepping stone for students aspiring to compete at the national level. The hackathon not only showcased the creative potential of the college’s engineering community but also reinforced the institution’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and fostering practical application of technical knowledge.

The internal hackathon witnessed outstanding performances from numerous student teams, with three teams emerging as the clear leaders in the competition. These exceptional teams demonstrated remarkable ingenuity, technical prowess, and innovative thinking as they tackled real-world challenges through their proposed solutions. The top three teams were honored during the awards ceremony, where they received certificates recognizing their achievements and excellence. These winners have set a high benchmark for future editions of the hackathon and are now positioned as strong contenders for the Smart India Hackathon 2025 national competition.
